The plan is to have Chocolate premiere at a major festival and roll out theatrically after the festival circuit.
Ideally, we will do a broadcast run on public TV or cable to reach the widest audience possible. We will then have the DVD with extras available as well as exploit VOD options.
There is a large opportunity for specialized distribution and marketing that will tap into the core groups internationally at chocolate and food conventions, chocolate tasting parties and educational seminars at universities and culinary schools.
We will capitalize on the relationships we have built up with grocery store owners around the US through our film, Paper or Plastic?, and get the DVD with educational materials placed next to their specialty chocolate sections.
